ABOUT (R)evolution

BACKGROUND
Greetings, everyone. As a transgender man with lived experience of neurodivergence and trauma, I bring a deep, embodied understanding to the way I hold space. I facilitate a peer‑led environment grounded in compassion, insight, and relational safety — a place where people can show up authentically and be met with respect and understanding.
EXPERIENCE
With over 19 years of experience in the mental health field, I have worked in a range of unique and complex settings, including unhoused communities, universities, high schools, community-based supportive housing, and maximum-security prison. Across domestic and international contexts, I’ve learned alongside diverse communities to advance equity, wellbeing, and shared liberation.
EDUCATION
I earned my Bachelor of Arts (Psychology emphasis) from the University of Victoria in British Columbia, Canada and later completed a Master of Psychotherapy and Counselling at Western Sydney University in Sydney, Australia.
Recognized on the Dean’s Merit List (2024) at Western Sydney University for academic excellence during my Master’s in Psychotherapy and Counselling.
REGISTRATION
I am currently registration‑eligible with
both the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors
(BCACC) and the Canadian Counselling and
Psychotherapy Association (CCPA).
I am in the process of completing the final steps toward full registration, which I expect to finalize in 2026.

SAFE

TO BE
ME

At (R)evolution Psychotherapy, you’ll find a warm, inclusive space where adults and young people can truly feel seen, heard, and valued. My liberation-focused approach honours your unique story and strengths, centering your voice every step of the way.
I blend traditional therapeutic skills with targeted attention to mapping and repairing attachment patterns, embracing neurodiversity, centering trans and LGBTQ+ experiences, and looking at power imbalances. Rooted in person-centered, trauma-trained care and guided by the science of how we relate to one another, therapy becomes both accessible and deeply affirming—supporting collective healing, different ways of knowing, and empowerment through education, advocacy, and authentic connection.
In our work together, there’s no expectation to ‘pass’ or hide parts of who we are.
You don’t have to mask your needs, feelings, or ways of being—and neither do I.
Our sessions are a space where stimming, pausing, info‑dumping, shifting topics, or communicating in the ways that feel natural are not only welcome, but respected.
Authenticity is our shared language, and your nervous system gets to rest here.
